Use them to check a SWMS against the Occupational Health and Safety Regulations 2017 (Vic), prepare your site and records for a WorkSafe Victoria visit, and get on top of psychosocial hazard duties under the OHS (Psychological Health) Regulations 2025, in force from 1 December 2025.

 

Principal contractors carry extra duties in Victoria. A principal contractor must be appointed for any construction project valued at $350,000 or more, and that principal contractor is responsible for obtaining and checking every SWMS on site. Interstate templates often get this threshold wrong.
