How much does a WHS safety audit cost in Melbourne?
A single-site WHS compliance audit in Melbourne costs $2,450 + GST at CWT Safety & Advisory. That fixed fee includes the site inspection, a review of your documents, a written report and a corrective action plan. Metropolitan Melbourne and Mornington Peninsula travel is included.
What the audit covers
Site inspection against the OHS Act 2004 (Vic) and OHS Regulations 2017
SWMS, risk assessments and procedures checked against the work actually being done
Contractor and subcontractor compliance
Licences, training and competency records
Plant, traffic management, working at height and emergency arrangements
Psychosocial hazards under the OHS (Psychological Health) Regulations 2025, in effect from 1 December 2025
What you get
A written report that separates findings, non-conformances and observations, backed by evidence. Each corrective action has an owner and a due date, so you can close it out and show a principal contractor, insurer or WorkSafe inspector what you did.
When businesses book an audit
After a WorkSafe notice or inspector visit
Before a principal contractor prequalification or tender
After a failed audit or a knock-back from a head contractor
Before ISO 45001 certification (a gap analysis starts from $3,800 + GST)
Ongoing support is available through the Compliance Watch retainer, from $1,650 + GST per month.
